Violence or Abuse against Practice Staff
Violence against or abuse of practice staff is totally unacceptable. Patients who are verbally abusive will receive a letter outlining the unacceptable nature of their behaviour and warned as to their future conduct. If this continues then they will be removed from the practice list. Any form of physical violence or intimidation will not be tolerated. Such behaviour will result in instant removal from the list.

Dr Carl Bracey (m)
MRCGP MBChB Bpharm (Hons) MRPS DFFP Dip Ther. Dr Bracey qualified in 1987 from 'The School of Pharmacy' London University and in 2002 from Manchester University Medical School. After completing his specialist GP training in Manchester, he moved to Devon with his young family. He is passionate and enthusiastic about medicine and general practice -believing it to be the best job in the world. Forging his role as a GP with his previous occupation as a Pharmacist and medicines expert, Dr Bracey is able to work effectively with patients to optimise their clinical care and medicine management. Dr Bracey has many clinical interests including mental health, education and management of chronic disease. He enjoys working in a small surgery, believing that a good doctor/patient relationship is the cornerstone of effective general practice. Dr Bracey moved to Devon to be near the beach so that on those rare occasions when wind, tide, work and kids are all perfectly aligned, he can easily nip down to the beach and kitesurf. If the winds are lighter he enjoys sailing with his boys at the Exmouth Sailing Club. |
Dr Dana Rogojan (f)
My name is Dana Maria Rogojan. I am one of the partners in Foxhayes surgery and proud to be here to help you. I was born in Romania, where I trained as a doctor and graduated the medical faculty in 2000 and trained as a surgeon until 2008. In 2010 I came to UK and had a change in career leading to completely changing and embracing the GP role in 2020. Since them I worked as a locum in and around Exeter recently, I took a salary job and then a partnership here. I have a special interest in women health and minor surgery.
My passions are my work, beekeeping, and self-sufficient living, I am also doing a lot of sport after I had a serious health scare a few years ago. Following my own experience, and I would like to encourage all of you to do to sport to your own abilities and embrace a healthy lifestyle because prevention of diseases is the best gift you can offer yourself. |

My Name is Megan. I am the lead practice nurse here at Foxhayes. I qualified with a degree with honours at UWE in 2014, Adult nursing. I first worked in oncology as a registered nurse at the R D and E. I then went on to work for 111 as a clinician. I started working in a practice in 2018. Where I learnt all my skills to be a practice nurse. I then went into the role of the lead practice nurse. I have a real interest in helping patients with long term conditions and helping them cope the best they can. I specialise in diabetes and respiratory diseases such as COPD and asthma. I also have lots of experience in chronic disease management, health promotion, phlebotomy, smears, wound care, immunisations for children, adults and for travel and mental health conditions. I have a real passion for health and well-being having gone through a big change in my life recently losing 7 stone in weight. My own interests are my family and friends but if I am not working you will usually find me at the beach. Looking forward to meeting you all

Hi, I'm Karen. I have worked here at Foxhayes for over 4 years with a really supportive team.
I am the phlebotomist/ Health Care Assistant, (aka The Vampire).
My main roles are to take blood, ECG's, BMI's, blood pressures, give immunisations such as flu, pneumonia, covid and B12 injections, dressing simple wounds, processing samples & ear syringing.
When I am not at work, I enjoy cooking, crafting and going on adventures with my black Labrador, Barney.
