The surgery has good access for the disabled, with dedicated disabled parking bays in front of the surgery. All of the consulting rooms and toilets are on the ground floor with easy wheelchair access.
DECOMMISIONING OF THE FAX MACHINE
With effect from 1st November 2019, the practice will no longer be sending or receiving fax messages and documentation.
The Government have instructed all practices that any fax equipment is to be phased out by April 2020. This measure will involve us being monitored on a quarterly basis to ensure we are completely "fax free" by this deadline.
We will therefore be decommissioning our fax machine in November this year and will be unable to accept any repeat prescription requests by the fax method. We would ask patients and organisations where possible, to use the more effective and secure method of emails (preferably via our on-line services). We can however, still accept requests in person or by post.
