Virtual Patient Representation Group
We have sucessefully set up a Virtual Patient Representation Group that involve patients to give us feedback on the range and quality of our services and tell us where we can improve.
Our aim is to reach a wide range of patients so we get views from a broad cross section of our population. To make is easy and convenient as possible for you it is a 'virtual group'. This means that most of the communication will be through email and completing online surveys and questionnaires approximately 5 times a year. However, we will ensure those patients without internet access can also take part.
What will be involved?
The main role of the groups is to provide us with feedback. We will ask the members of this representative group some questions from time to time such as what you think about our opening times, or the quality of care you have recieved. We will publish the results of your responce along with our proposal to improve the areas that are in need of change. You will have a chance to let us know if you agree with our plans.
The information you supply us will be used lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to know what information is held about you and sets out rules to make sure that this information is handled properly.
